Troubleshooting an iPhone Connection

Is your Digital AV Adapter an authentic adapter from Apple? Some Digital AV adapters purchased on sites such as Ebay may not be authentic, and therefore, may not work properly with the projector. Please check with the adapter seller to verify its’ authenticity.
  • Verify that your iPhone supports mirroring (in the table above). If it does not support mirroring, you will need to use an app on your phone that allows video out (such as Netflix).
  • Power off the projector and disconnect the HDMI cable and adapter. Reconnect the HDMI cable, reconnect the Digital AV adapter and then try to power on the projector.
  • Try connecting the projector to a device that has HDMI output such as an AppleTV or a laptop with an HDMI port. If this connection works, but you are still unable to connect to your iPhone we suggest following Apple’s Digital AV adapter troubleshooting information: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202044
